Christie and Lucas got married on a beautiful sunny day in December at Holman Ranch, in the Carmel Valley. In fact, the whole week before, it had been rainy, yucky weather. On their wedding day, however, it was nothing but gorgeous, beautiful sunshine! Gotta love California (and wedding mojo!)! I had been really looking forward to their wedding (especially after our super fun engagement session!), and from the minute I got there to the minute I left, the day was a total blast! These guys are so adorable together, and I count myself lucky to have been able to get to know them and be a part of their special day.
Here are some fun detail to set the mood
Lucas surprised Christie by hiding a note with her cowboy boots (yes, they both wore cowboy boots...that's how rad they are) for her find while she was getting ready. It was the sweetest thing!!!
I think these images of Lucas are so kickass!
another sassy one of Christie
Now I'll be the first to admit that even after doing so many weddings, I am still a sentimental fool. I think weddings are such a beautiful, special way for a couple to celebrate their commitment, and watching wedding ceremonies still makes my heart get all warm and fuzzy. However, I'm pretty good at not being a bawling mess, and staying focused on my photography. With that said, Christie and Lucas' wedding had me wishing I had brought some tissue with me...
Christie and Lucas had a special part of their ceremony dedicated to Lucas' daughter. In addition to her vows to Lucas, Christie also made vows to Lucas' daughter, and presented her with a gift. There wasn't a dry eye to be found!
love love LOVE this one! It's one of my favs! Swanky!
grr baby...grr
The opinion was unanimous...this sunset was out of control...
